A fire broke out in a godown in central Delhi's busy Chandni Chowk this evening, fire brigade officials said.

A fire broke out in a godown in central Delhi's busy Chandni Chowk this evening, fire brigade officials said.

The blaze was reported from the godown located at 'Nayi Sadak' near Townhall at around 5 pm, they said.

Around 20 fire tenders were rushed to the spot, they said adding efforts were on to douse the fire.

The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
