Firing outside MLA's office?

Miscreants opened fire outside the office of Tilokpuri MLA Sunil Vaidya late Saturday night. Police said the firing was done to create a scare as there was no one in the office.

But Vaidya alleged, "The intention was to kill those inside. I have filed several complaints against betting rackets in my area."

According to an eyewitness, at 1.30am, four men on two bikes carried out the firing.

"We have recovered empty cartridges and are questioning local goons," a senior police officer said.
