"The women, aged between 20 and 24 years, were rescued from brothel number 55 at GB Road on Friday," a police officer said. The women were brought to the brothel in central Delhi six to 10 months back on the pretext of jobs but were forced into prostitution.

The raid was conducted after the police was tipped off by an NGO. Brothel owner Kamal and manager Lalita have been arrested, the officer said.
