Mukherjee recalled his association with Dr Seshadri, describing him as an outstanding administrator and a cultural organiser par excellence. He talked about how Dr Seshadri popularised handlooms among the masses and his role in establishing Asia 72 (now ITPO).

Sitar maestro Pandit Debu Chaudhuri credited Dr Seshadri for contributing to popularity of the shehnai maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan, adding that the maestro would have been popular nonetheless, but it was Dr Seshadri who regularly invited Bismilla Khan to Delhi to perform at the prestigious Tansen Festival.

In her tribute, Kumari Uma Sharma recalled how Dr Seshadri organised festivals honouring saints such as Tansen, Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa.
