In a similar incident, three bikes were set on fire in south Delhi's Govindpuri area.

Both the incidents took place late on Tuesday night. The owners came to know about it in the morning when they saw the charred vehicles.

"The residents complained to us and we checked the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby. Three boys were seen setting the two-wheelers on fire and they were nabbed," a senior police officer said.

During interrogation, the boys told the police that they did it for fun. They said they had done it earlier in other areas of west Delhi.

However, the accused in the Govindpuri case are still on the run.
