Girl critical after part of burning ravan effigy falls
A seven-year-old girl sustained severe burn injuries after a small part of a burning effigy of Ravan fell on her at Ramlila Maidan, the police said.

A seven-year-old girl sustained severe burn injuries after a small part of a burning effigy of Ravan fell on her at Ramlila Maidan, the police said.
The burning log fell on Priyanka Gupta as she along with her parents was watching Dussehra celebrations at the ground, police said.
“We received a call at around 7.15pm. A few other people were also injured in the incident but the girl is reported to be critical,” a fire brigade official said. She was rushed to Lok Nayak Hospital.
The other injured people were discharged after administering first aid.
