After reaching at Delhi airport, more than 150 passengers kept waiting for their baggage, which had, meanwhile, been cleared at the Mumbai airport.

"You want to leave the airport as soon as you arrive at your destination. Here we kept waiting for our baggage. Even the airline officials couldn't help us," said a passenger who landed at Delhi airport.

All that Air India officials said was that passenger baggage would be delivered as soon as it comes from Mumbai. "Since we combined the two flights, the baggage got offloaded at Mumbai airport. We are making arrangements to bring it here. The passengers have been asked to go home," said an Air India spokesperson.

AI 717/716 and IC683/684 operating Mumbai-Dubai-Mumbai and AI 747/ 746, IC895/ 896 operating Delhi-Dubai-Delhi were combined to operate as Mumbai-Dubai-Delhi-Mumbai.
