The government on Tuesday offered free luxury train packages to Indian medal winners at Commonwealth Games.
The offer is an incentive for athletes to excel at the Games. Announcing the incentive scheme, tourism minister Kumari Selja said the medal winners will also be felicitated at a special function in the Delhi after the Games.

In case of team events, each team member, along with their coach, would be given the complimentary tickets.
The sportspersons can avail of these trips anytime up to March 31, 2012, depending
on the availability of accommodation and the choice of luxury train given by the medal winner.
