Govt to focus on SC slums
The Delhi government decided on Monday to focus on ensuring development of slum clusters and villages dominated by the scheduled caste community.

The Delhi government decided on Monday to focus on ensuring development of slum clusters and villages dominated by the scheduled caste community.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Sheila Dikshit.
The government has decided to improve road network, sewage system and build community toilets in the areas.
The cabinet also decided to enhance the age of superannuation to 65 years for teaching community in government nursing institutions subject to condition that they continue to work as faculty members after the age of 60 years. The enhancement for superannuation will be applicable only for those with masters’ degree in nursing.
