A man, who was declared a proclaimed offender over his alleged involvement more than 21 cases, has been arrested in west Delhi, police said.

Pramod, a resident of Haryana, was formally arrested after a Delhi judge directed the police to go through records of arrested persons wanted in the Capital but lodged in other jails.

"After due satisfaction of the honourable court, Pramod, wanted in a motor vehicle theft case was called through production warrant and he was formally arrested," an officer said.
