According to Javed Iqbal Naqi, Programme Co ordinator International Regional Campaigns, Amnesty International India: "This will be a world record in the field of aerial art as more than 25 locations will be forming these human aerial images within a period of 24 hours. Circle up Now having expertise in aerial art, is collaborating with us worldwide.

"From New Delhi to Tel-Aviv and Mexico, large number of people will join together to form images of words such as representations of the "Freedom", "Dignity" and "Justice" representing the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Visual footage and photographs will be taken from a height either a building, crane, helicopter, in different parts of the world," he said.

Besides New Delhi, such images will also be formed at Kotdwarka, Uttaranchal, Imphal, Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, Aligarh, Paramakudi in Tamil Nadu, Devanagri in Karnataka, Palakkad in Kerala, Bhilwara in Rajasthan, Burkina Faso, Kathmandu, Taipei, Mexico City, Athens, London, Tel Aviv, he said.

"The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Olympic values aspire to a world where the dignity and fundamental rights of all individuals are respected without discrimination," he said.

In Athens - where the central event will take place -- Amnesty International's supporters will call on the Chinese authorities to deliver a positive human rights legacy for the Beijing Olympics, he added.
