Just when the 180 passengers of the Srinagar bound flight (6E 552) had boarded the aircraft at 10.55 a.m., the Gurgaon based call centre of IndiGo airlines received a call that a bomb had been placed inside the plane.

After the airline authorities informed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which is in charge of the airport’s security, the passengers were made to disembark and the aircraft checked.
