The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.9 degrees Celsius, the Met department said. Today's minimum was recorded at 25 degrees.

Maximum humidity was recorded at 92 per cent while the minimum was 44 per cent, the Met department said.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius while minimum was 25.5 degrees.

The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rains and thundershowers tomorrow.

The maximum temperature is likely to remain at 34 degrees and the minimum at 25 degrees.
