India, Nepal sign MoU for Goitre control programme

India and Nepal on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing assistance in carrying out Goitre control programme in the latter country.

India and Nepal on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing assistance in carrying out Goitre control programme in the latter country.

The MoU was signed between Nepal Foreign Secretary Gyan Chandra Acharya and his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao.

The agreement was among a series of pacts between the two countries to widen bilateral cooperation between India and Nepal during Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's visit in New Delhi.
