Israeli security adviser to meet Chidambaram today

The national security adviser of Israel, Yaakov Amidror will meet home minister P Chidambaram on Monday and is expected to discuss the progress made in the probe into the terror attack that injured an embassy personnel. HT reports.

The national security adviser of Israel, Yaakov Amidror will meet home minister P Chidambaram on Monday and is expected to discuss the progress made in the probe into the terror attack that injured an embassy personnel.

The visit was scheduled some two months ago. The visiting national security advisor will discuss a host other issues with his Indian interlocutors.

Israel has been insisting that Iran is behind the attack-- an assertion India is yet to subscribe to. New Delhi maintains that the no conclusion can be drawn as yet and one arrest has been made as part of the ongoing investigation. A journalist has been arrested by the Delhi police with regard to the case.
