Journalist DP Kumar dead
Veteran journalist and former editor of The Statesman DP Kumar died of a massive cardiac arrest in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, at 5 pm on Sunday, his family members said.

Veteran journalist and former editor of The Statesman DP Kumar died of a massive cardiac arrest in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, at 5 pm on Sunday, his family members said.
"Debu" to his friends, Kumar was 79 and is survived by his wife Bindi, two daughters Shalini and Himani and son Siddharth, who is also a journalist working with the German news agency DPA.
The venue for the last rights was being decided.
