Kashmiri teachers salaries hiked

Accepting their long-standing demand, Delhi government has hiked salaries of Kashmiri migrant teachers by nearly Rs10,000 a month and also agreed to increase their dearness allowance on a yearly basis.

Accepting their long-standing demand, Delhi government has hiked salaries of Kashmiri migrant teachers by nearly Rs10,000 a month and also agreed to increase their dearness allowance on a yearly basis. Education department officials said there are more than 1,200 Kashmiri migrants employed as teachers in various government schools across Delhi.
