Nanhe was murdered along with his brother Suresh on March 2. But the case gained notoriety with the murder of police officer Zia-ul Haque.

According to agency officials, Nanhe's murder was a fallout of a land dispute. Nine months ago, he had bought two bighas of land in Balipur from one Babloo Pandey. Pandey had a dispute over the land with one Kamta Pal and Nanhe inherited the tussle.

On Sunday, the CBI arrested Kamta Pal's sons Ajay and Vijay. A contractor, Rakesh Pal, was detained. With the arrests, the agency now hopes to unravel the conspiracy behind the murder of Haque and Suresh.
