Lahori Gate murder accused held

Police said accused Mohammed Qasim was wanted in a murder in the Lahori Gate area. After committing the crime, Qasim succeeded in escaping to Pakistan A reward of Rs. 25,000 was been declared by Delhi Police for his apprehension.

“Mohammed Sariq resident of Ballimaran, Chandni Chowk reported his younger brother Sadiq married Rubina, neice of Jargam Ali, against the will of her family. Sadiq and Rubina shifted to Ballimaran. Sadiq and Ali had a heated argument near Hari Masjid. Sariq and his brothers tried to pacify them. Ali along with his associates Salim, Wasim, Qasim and Shanu all armed with pistols fired at Sadiq’s brothers Tariq and Tayyab and injured them. They were removed to LNJP hospital where Tariq later succumbed to gunshots.
