The incident took place when Shiv Singh, Raj Kumar and Samay Singh, sons of Laxman of Chaprola village under Palwal Sadar police station, were working in their farmland on Thursday morning.
The police said about a dozen villagers armed with pistols and lathis attacked the family and even fired at them, leaving the father son duo — Shiv Singh and Laxman — critically injured. Two villagers were also injured.
“We are investigating the case,” said Jagat Singh Hooda, SP Palwal, adding that some land dispute was behind the attack and firing.
