Lokpal panel meetings to be audio-recorded: Sibal

The government has agreed to audio-recording of all meetings of the Lokpal Bill panel and to holding public consultations before a final draft of the anti-graft law is prepared.

This was revealed by human resource development minister Kapil Sibal after the first meeting of the joint drafting panel in the capital on Saturday.

The 10-member joint committee held its first meeting at North Block to discuss procedures to be followed for drafting of the anti-graft bill.
