Police said Inder Pal and Inder had been arrested on Wednesday after they were found in possession of illegal arms during a routine vehicle checking drive in Jaffarpur Kalan. A pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from their possession.
"During interrogation, the accused said they had planned and killed one Lalit, who belonged to a rival gang, last weekend," said a police officer.
A bitter feud, police said, had begun when Inderpal had slapped one Rajiv and Lalit over some trivial issue in early January this year driving the latter to bear a grudge.
