Man electrocuted at ATM in north Delhi

The mishap occurred at Burari in north Delhi where the man, who had come in to deposit cash in the ATM for the bank, was electrocuted while raising the rolling iron shutter.

A man was electrocuted at an ATM in Delhi on Monday, making this the second such instance in the national capital in the last 10 days.

The latest mishap occurred at Burari in north Delhi where the man, who had come in to deposit cash in the ATM for the bank, was electrocuted while raising the rolling iron shutter.

Details about his identity are awaited, but sources said he died instantly.

On August 2, a 35-year-old man was electrocuted at an ATM machine installed in a semi-urban northwest Delhi village on Saturday.
