Man ends life in S. Delhi

Unable to cope with financial problems, a man allegedly committed suicide in the Capital by hanging himself from a tree near a bus stand in South Delhi.

Unable to cope with financial problems, a man allegedly committed suicide in the Capital by hanging himself from a tree near a bus stand in South Delhi.

According to police, a morning walker who noticed the body made a call to the PCR at around 7.30 am on Sunday. The incident happened in the RK Puram area.

The police said the victim Chandrashekhar Kumar, in his fifties, was found hanging near the RK Puram bus stand.

Kumar was a resident of a slum in RK Puram and was allegedly under debt and could not find means to repay it.
