Eyewitnesses told the police that a car hit another in front of a hotel around 11pm. “The person, whose car was hit, threatened the other driver with a gun. When the latter started running, he fired at least five rounds,” an eyewitness told the police.
No one was injured in the incident. “We checked nearby hospitals. No blood marks were found near the spot though we did find five empty shells,” said a senior police officer.
Police are now scanning CCTV footage for clues.
