Anoop Kumar, a resident of Ghaziabad in UP, was arrested on a tip-off from the Civil Lines area, said Sindhu Pillai, DCP (north).
"Kumar is an active member of the Jaggu gang of sharp shooters who indulge in robbery and auto lifting. He was wanted in a culpable homicide case registered at north Delhi's I. P. Estate police station and was minutes away from perpetrating a crime in the district," said DCP Pillai.
Police said Kumar was waylaid and arrested near the Qudsia Bagh as he was spotted coming to the Civil Lines area from the Kashmere Gate ISBT.
