Manish Tewari's security upped

The government has decided to enhance the security of information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari from Y to Z category. In Delhi he will be provided security by the Delhi police while in Punjab his security has been entrusted to the Central Industrial Security Force.

"The decision has been taken following a review of threat perception after a representation was received from Tewari in this regard. His father was killed by terrorists in Punjab. Besides, the Punjab government had withdrawn few security men from Tewari's detail," said a source.
