MCD ad revenue in April records over three-fold growth

Chairman of MCD Standing Committee Ram Kishan Singhal today said the revenue witnessed an all-time high growth, 356 per cent more than Rs 2.89 crore during same period last year.

The growth has been made possible due to its effective strategy of penalising the advertisers who display wall-wraps, hoardings, bill-boards without MCD's permission, he said.

It was also made possible due to setting-up of government-to-citizen Kiosks in different parts of the city, he said.
