MCD appeals people to help wade out of woes

The civic body has issued an appeal to "anybody and everybody" to lodge any complaint pertaining to waterlogging, uprooted trees, missing manhole covers, lack of sanitation, potholed roads, dangerous buildings, removal of animal carcasses or any other complaint related to civic services at the MCD control rooms.

"The complaints can be lodged either at the headquarters (central) control room or the zonal control rooms round- the-clock," said an MCD statement. These control rooms are equipped with requisite man and material resources, the statement added.
