Delhiites on Friday, experienced sweltering heat as maximum temperature rose to 39.6 degrees celsius. The high here settled three degrees above the normal range, while the minimum was recorded at 23.8 degrees celsius, also three degrees above normal, the Meteorological Department said in the Capital.

Meanwhile, the Met department has forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas on Saturday.

However, the maximum temperature is not going to change much and is likely to settle around 39 degrees celsius, they said.
