They have built a rail network, shopping malls, taken up an underground parking project and are now constructing a luxury hotel.

Keeping in mind the demand for rooms for tourists during the Commonwealth Games in October 2010, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is building the hotel in a joint venture with hospitality giant Taj Group of Hotels.
Equipped with all facilities, the six-storeyed hotel and 400-room will come up at the metro station complex at Sector 21 in Dwarka.
“We are initially planning to construct only one block, which will have 200 rooms,” said a DMRC official. “ These rooms will be ready before the Games.”
With the State Environment Impact Assessment Committee (SEIAC) reportedly giving its final approval for the Rs 320 crore project, senior DMRC officials said they will now expedite the construction work to completion before the Games.
The hotel will have parking facility for 1,328 vehicles and three parking lots for buses in three-level basements, the official said.
Thousands of tourists, including foreigners, are expected to reach Delhi during the Games.
