Minor fire at metro station

Panic gripped hundreds of Metro commuters at the underground Barakhamba Road Metro Station around 2 p.m. on Wednesday when a minor fire broke out at the equipment room of a CDMA mobile operator at the station. HT reports.

However, DMRC authorities brought the fire under control immediately.

"No commuters or Metro services were affected," said a DMRC spokesperson.
