A minor fire on Monday broke out in a multi-storied building in the national capital, fire brigade officials said.

The blaze was reported from the 11th floor of Sanchar Bhavan, which houses the offices of IT Ministry and BSNL, at 11.50 am, they said.

Six fire tenders where rushed to the spot which doused the fire within 15 minutes.

The cause of fire is suspected to be caused due to a short circuit in an electric board, fire brigade officials said.
