The Municipal Corporation of Delhi plans to advertise about mosquito-proof, environment-friendly coolers and its benefits to fight mosquito menace next year.
The civic body thinks that the cooler, developed by the National Centre for Disease Control, will help keep both dengue and chickungunya at bay. The Capital reported nearly 7,000 dengue and 65 chikungunya cases this year and the MCD found about 70% of mosquito breeding in coolers.
