Manju Joshi was found gagged to death with her dupattas in her house. Her husband Mahendra Joshi was so shocked after seeing his wife’s body that he fainted. He had to be admitted to Safdarjung Hospital.

“Mahendra was discharged from the hospital on Friday. We are questioning him to find more details about the case,” said a senior police officer. Police have still not found Manju’s mobile phone.

“We have contacted the mobile phone operator and have asked for her call details. It would give us a clear picture,” said the officer.

The victim’s four-year-old daughter was seen crying by a neighbour on Thursday and later Manju’s body was discovered in her house.
