Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Saturday called on President Pranab Mukherjee to greet him on assuming the top Constitutional post.
It was the first meeting of Modi with Mukherjee since his election as the 13th President.
The chief minister also met Vice President Hamid Ansari to congratulate him on being elected for a second consecutive term in office.
