‘NDMC parking lots are mismanaged’
A city court directed the New Delhi deputy commissioner of police to apprise it of steps taken to check theft of vehicles from authorised parking lots allegedly in collusion with its attendants.

A city court directed the New Delhi deputy commissioner of police to apprise it of steps taken to check theft of vehicles from authorised parking lots allegedly in collusion with its attendants.
Additional sessions judge (ASJ) JR Aryan issued the direction while lamenting the maladministration and mismanagement at New Delhi Municipal Council-run parking lots.He said the civic body appears to be least bothered about the state of affairs there.
“It is very unfortunate that in presence of the police, parking attendants work in complete violation of the terms and conditions of the parking contract,” said ASJ Aryan.
