Chhatarpur station is one of the ten stations where trains do not halt.
The stations on the Gurgaon stretch where trains halt are Dronacharya, Sikanderpur, MG Road, IFFCO Chowk and HUDA City Centre. Similarly, stations such as Qutub Minar, Chhatarpur, Ghitorni, Sarvodya School and Arjan Garh are operational on the Delhi stretch.
Daljit Singh, the chief project manager, Gurgaon-Qutub Minar line, said CMRS R. K. Kardam has confirmed the visit.
"All amenities, including elevators, are in place. We have also received no-objection certificates from fire service department and other agencies. The DMRC is authorised to verify elevator safety," said Singh.
He said the station would be thrown open and the trains would start halting after the CMRS issues NOC.
"We can start operating the Chhatarpur station whether or not the Qutub Minar-CTST line is operational," Singh added.
