'No witness against Tytler in 1984 riots'

Congress leader Jagdish Tytler Thursday got a reprieve in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) saying it was unable to find any witness to support the charges against the politician.

Congress leader Jagdish Tytler on Thursday got a reprieve in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) saying it was unable to find any witness to support the charges against the politician.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjeev Jain on Thursday gave the counsel for the families of riot victims time till Dec 6 to present the witness who can depose against Tytler, according to the lawyer.

The families raised slogans against Tytler and the CBI in court on Thursday and were dragged out by the police.
