Noida residents concerned over rising crime

In the last two years, 46 incidents of crimes took place in the Noida Sector 63 sector, which has just 275 houses, reports Kapil Datta.

Residents of Noida Sector 63 have expressed concern over rising crime in the area. "In the last two years, 46 incidents of crimes took place in the sector, which has just 275 houses. Retired and serving bureaucrats, businessmen reside in the sector," founder president of the residents welfare association Mahesh Saxena told a press conference.

"If Noida police cannot check crimes in such a small sector, then can imagine the situation in other sectors having thousands of houses," he said.

Sector 24 Station Officer Nathi Ram Pawar said: "If they have any grievance it would be looked into. I have asked the residents to discuss the security plan of the sector.”
