Notice issued to Karnataka on proposed military memorial
The Supreme Court today issued notice to the Karnataka government on a petition challenging the proposed setting up of the National Military Memorial at the Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park in Bangalore.

The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Karnataka government on a petition challenging the proposed setting up of the National Military Memorial at the Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park in Bangalore.
The vacation bench headed by justice R.M. Lodha and comprising Justice A.K. Patnaik, however, declined to order status quo. The notice is returnable in four weeks.
