A Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking to advise the authorities on the measures to be adopted for timely completion of commonwealth games projects.

A Bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra is likely to hear the PIL on Wednesday. “The PIL seeks to place before the court various suggestions on how the construction work for the Commonwealth Games could be completed on time,” said petitioner and senior Supreme Court lawyer Amitabha Sen who himself was a Chief Civil Engineer with a construction company in San Francisco, involved in construction of many stadiums.
