Issuing a notice to Delhi government, the Centre and also to the DDA, a division bench of acting chief justice AK Sikri and justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw sought their replies by September 6 on a plea seeking restraint order for them from taking any decision to regularise illegal colonies in New Delhi.

The plea referred to a recent media report in which the Delhi CM had promised to declare 917 illegal colonies as regularised soon.
