PM, Advani meet at President's dinner

The platform for the brief meeting between the two leaders was the dinner hosted by President Pratibha Patil for the outgoing Union Council of Ministers at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Advani walked up to the prime minister and the two were seen exchanging a few words.

Besides Advani in his capacity as the Leader of the Opposition, Speaker Somnath Chaterjee was also invited for the dinner.

In a warm gesture, the President also personally saw off each minister after the dinner.
