Manmohan Singh went into huddle with UPA's trouble shooter Pranab Mukherjee, home minister P Chidambaram and senior ministers Kapil Sibal, Pawan Kumar Bansal and Minister of State in the PMO, V Narayansami.

Sources said various issues were discussed during the meeting including the Hazare episode and the impeachment proceedings against Justice Sen, which began in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.

Asked what will be the government's strategy in dealing with Hazare, a minister, who declined to be identified said that the Home Minister had already spoken about the government's views in Parliament.
