Prepare for Urs in Ajmer, civic agencies told

The Delhi government on Friday told the city's civic and development agencies to start making arrangements for the pilgrims arriving for the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti at Ajmer in June. HT reports.

The Delhi government on Friday told the city's civic and development agencies to start making arrangements for the pilgrims arriving for the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti at Ajmer in June. The pilgrims stay in Delhi for a few days before they depart to take part in the annual Urs.

Revenue minister AK Walia directed the concerned agencies to ensure the pilgrims have a comfortable stay in the transit camp to be set up in Burari. The camp will begin on May 28 though it will be formally inaugurated on May 30.
