Property dealer held

The Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi government on Tuesday arrested a property dealer in a case related to converting vast tracts of agriculture land into illegal colonies.

The Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi government on Tuesday arrested a property dealer in a case related to converting vast tracts of agriculture land into illegal colonies.

The ACB has registered two FIRs in the scam involving private builders, colonisers and land developers for illegally developing colonies in connivance with government officials on agriculture land.

Ravinder Kumar Agrawal, a property dealer, was arrested on Tuesday for his role in selling agriculture land in Narela.

In 2009, Agrawal had developed an illegal colony Gautam Nagar, sources said.
