Delhi is expected to get rains over the next two days, assured Ashwani Kumar, Union minister of state for earth sciences on Wednesday.
Asked why monsoon predictions were going wrong, Kumar admitted "there was a margin of error" in the forecast.
Meanwhile, high humidity left Delhiites sweating on yet another hot day with the mercury remaining above normal level. The weathermen have predicted that the temperature might to go down from Thursday. While the maximum was recorded at 41.2 degrees Celsius, the minimum settled at 29.2 degrees.
