Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning on Thursday as overnight rains lashed the capital bringing down the temperature by several notches.

Large parts of the city were, however, waterlogged leading to traffic snarls as drizzling continued this morning.
The capital received a total of 0.22mm of rains till 10.30 am today bringing the mercury down to a comfortable 26.5 degree celsius, the met office said.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degree celsius.
The weatherman forecast partly cloudy sky, likely to be followed by rains in the evening.
