Fourteen children went missing from Anand Vihar colony between January 22 and February 10 this year. Ten children seem to be missing from each neighbourhood.

There were 550 children missing from the Northeast district.

He said the police were trying to hide their own negligence by saying the cases were of elopement. “How can a seven-year-old child be in love, he will only love his mother,” he said.

Several other members like Jaya Bachchan (SP), Brinda Karat (CPM), Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP) and Rudra Narayan Pany (BJP) associated themselves with the issue.

Deputy chairman said the whole House associates with this matter.
